JFA was hired by Kay Development to re-design an 80 unit apartment building located on a major intersection in the city of Valley Stream, NY. While the insuring the zoning envelope and floor area were maximized as per the original design, JFA was asked to improve the residential layouts and parking garage floors and to design for retail at the base of the building. JFA worked closely with the developer and developer’s marketing team in order to create an up market “branded” residential product that emphasized lifestyle.
