John Fotiadis interviewed as part of KyivPost’s new video series

In the first of a new Kyiv Post series of promotional videos in partnership with Skyline, Luc Chénier, Kyiv Post CEO, interviews internationally acclaimed architect John Fotiadis of New York as well as Sergey Makhno, a famous Ukrainian architect/interior designer.

Both experts discuss upcoming trends that are influenced by markets such as New York, Canada, Japan and other global hotspots as well as a shift/revolution in elegant, simplistic design that is now taking place in Ukraine.

As Sergey Makhano states; “Good taste is always appreciated – no matter where you live.”

During the interview, we discuss design tendencies, global influences, green design and clients evolving mindsets and finally on where the market and trends are most likely heading in the next 5 years.

“Markets are converging as information and technology are now becoming a major driver – so it’s becoming more about a global trend and less about local tendencies,” Fotiadis said.
